Helen and I took a beautiful hike close to an area close to Lake Tahoe off highway 80.  I had been there before but it was the first time Helen came along.  A beautiful place as you can see form the pictures below, but we actually managed to get lost during the hike - suddenly the trial disappeared - well we made it back home before sun set (barely).  A great hike, but we decided to buy a hiking GPS after this :-)
