Jeff and I went to Aptos just south of Santa Cruz to take a hike to the Epicenter of the 1989 Loma Prieta earth quake. It ended up being a nice long hike with more than 1500' elevation change. Part of the hike has some astonishing views, with drops straight down right at your feet. However, I found that these views were very difficult to take pictures off.
