I went with Helen and our colleagues on a weekend trip to Damingshan (Daming Mountain) to explore and hike a little.  It is a 4-5 bus ride from Shanghai south of Huangzhou.  It is a nice place, but it was also very warm as can be seen from the picture.   We actually went to two different places in the same area.  It is a place with a lot of hiking up the mountain - especially on the second day where we hiked up a place called little Huashan (Hua mountain), which is supposed to be as steep as the real Huashan - besides being steep it also offered some nice views.  It was nice hike, but I got to sweat a lot - we did it in half the expected time.
