Helen and I took a weekend trip to QianTao (TsingTao) and Penglai to look around. Penglai is famous for its beach and also for s temple there. It is interesting to watch people at the beach - people go in the water, but very few swim - most just stay around. QianTao is most famous for its beer - we went there just after the yearly beer festival started, but we were not there during the night so it was pretty quiet.
