Taiwan May 2007

Helen and I spent a few day in Taiwan during the May 1st vacation in China. We went to Ali Mountain (Ali Shan) and following that the island Peng Hu between China and Taiwan. Very different scenarios as can be seen below. Ali Shan is nice but also very touristy - we got up very early to see the sunset (took train to sunset area) and we also hiked around a little. Penghu is really a nice place to go - It was before the real tourist season started. People are really nice and helpful there - a nice place to relax. We rented a motor cycle to drive around the island and we also went fishing at night (cuttle-fish)
