Helen and I got married in China in October 2004 in China.  It was far from the traditional wedding.  We simply went to the wedding office in Shanghai and got registered.   Still is was some kind of experience.  You basically stand in line to do one thing, then you need to go pay a little money, and then you need to go to the next line where after you need to pay a little more.  In the end you end up at a small room where you say yes at a quick ceremony.  The pictures below here were the ones taken at the ceremony.  They are not the greatest quality, but better this than nothing
