We went to select a Christmas tree on Christmas eve

This is our tree

and this is what it looked like when we got it home

the tree, and say a verse, and when finish, we stop and pick a present

We stopped for ice cream at Ghirardelli's in Monterey

Yes, it is a big ice cream, but we finished it - Helen likes ice cream :-)

We saw a beautiful sunset on the way back from Monterey

Our New Year dinner - we did not do that much, as my parents were leaving the next day

We still got some nice food.

Se also went skiing, so we had to get up early.  Yes, this is the sun rise

Helen's first time on skis - she did quite well considering this.
