Helen and I visited Lassen park during the 4th of July. We had planned to go camping, but it turned out to be impossible to get a camp ground. I have visited previously during Labor Day and it had been no issue to get camp grounds then. I guess you always learn something new. Well, we found a place to stay. Because we could not find a campground we found another great place to visit - Burney Falls. We had no plans to visit it, but we ended up driving by it, and when we stopped there, we got a very pleasant surprise.
